MAORI SOLDIER'S DEATH.

Per Press Association. Auckland, Oct. 16. A young Maori soldier, who was seriously injured by a tram car late on Saturday night, died at the hospital. Spectators say he walked right on to the tram and fell under the front of the car. A paper on his clothing bore the name of Henry Trood. but his identity has not been established.
