HELPING THE BELGIAN FARMERS. A SPECIAL FUND. Per Press Association. Wellington, May 22 The Hon. Mr Russell states that he has received advice that the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association has resolved to establish a special fund for assistance to Belgian farmers, whose homes and properties have been destroyed. The chairman is Mr Henry Overton. It is intended to communicate with all other A. and P. Associations urging that the movement be taken up iu various districts.
