There has been a sensational advance of over a hundred per cent, in Australasian ox ,and cow horns owing to prohibition of importing. Large sorts realised 81s per hundred compared with 36s at the previous sales and medium 21s and 32s compared with 15s. There has been a decline in copper due to Americans forcing tne sales. At a Government conference to consider the wool export all sections of the trade were represented and gave the War Trade Department the latest information as to the present state of the trade and prospects of the near future.
