THE CONFLICT AT MORT HOMME.
TRENCHES LOST AND WON. SUCCESSFUL AEROPLANE BOMBING. Received May 22, 11,50 a.m. Paris, B2ay 21. A French communique says the Germans continued their attacks on Mort Homme and occupied our first lino, tranches on the western slopes. All attempts on the eastern slopes tailed. Our aeroplanes bombed the enemy’s cantonments, also Lutnes railway station, where a great fire followed and trains were obliged to leave at full speed.
