TURKISH GARRISON OF TREBIZOND.

THE LINE OF RETREAT. Petrograd, April 19. The Turkish garrison at Trebizond and a field army of about 50,000 are on the (wo possible lines of retreat, the first westward to Kirasuu, 65 miles along the Black Sea coast, and the second southward by rail to Gnmuachkane and thence to Erzinghan in mountainous oountry. The line of retreat is well adapted for defence. The seaward -defences at Trebizond are especially strong and included powerful naval guns with concrete emplacements.
