THE TRIENNIAL MEETING
CONFERENCE OF DELEGATES,
On Tuesday morning a civic wel - come was tendered to the executive and delegates of the various lodges in the Wellington district of the Ancient Order of Foresters, who are holding their triennial meeting at Wanganui. The visitors were cordiallj' welcomed by the Deputy Mayor, Mr G. Spriggens The conference opened at 10 a.m. at tne Fire Brigade Hall, those taking part being:

The conference will continue today and to-morrow, 'Complete arrangements have been made for the entertainment of the visitors.. This afternoon they will he taken for a river trip, and in the evening probably attend the Fete of Nations.
During their stay the members will he accorded the privileges of the Cosmopolitan Club. On Tuesday night a social was tendered to the delegates and executive at Dustins Ltd., the occasion marking the 48th anniversary of Court Roderick Dhu, No 472(5. P.C.R. Bro T. B. Williams presided. An enjoyable programme of musical items and toasts was gone through, the evening being brought to a conclusion with the singing of the National Anthem.
