ITALIAN’S ASSAULT ON GORIZIA.
Amsterdam, Nov. 30.
An Austrian communique states that the Italians are hurling assault after assault against Gorizia bridgehead Notwithstanding our heavy losses all were repulsed. Our offensive in northern and north-eastern Montenegro is proceeding. KAISER VISITS FRANZ JOSEF. Amsterdam, Nov. 30. The Kaiser visited the Emperor Franz Josef. He gave an audience to M.M. Buri'an, Stuergh and Tisza and departed for Berlin. GORIZIA IN FLAMES. Zurich, Nov. 30. A semi-official Austrian despatch says that the suburbs of Gorizia are in flames. THE ENEMY REINFORCED. HAND-TO-HAND FIGHTING. Received Dec. 1, 9 a.m. Rome, Nov. 30. A communique states: The enemy strongly reinforced, attacked ns north-west of Gorizia, and forced our trenches at some points, but were ejected after furious hand to hand lighting.
