Tho nine new education distriq of the Dominion are defined by ft Council of Education as: Auckianj Taranaki, Hawke’s Bay, Wanganui Wellington, Nelson, Canterhnjj Otago and Southland. Tho Taranaki district consistjj the counties of Awakino, Ohati Clifton, Whangamomona, Taranaki Egmout, Stratford, Eltham, Waimal West and Hawera. The Wanganui district losi Eltham and other small portions« Taranaki. The Hawke’s Bay district stiiln eludes the East Coast Counties! Cook, Waiapu and Waikohu. The Wellingon district now take in the Sounds, Marlborough at Awatere counties in the Soot Island. The Nelson district, which seet to have been left unaltered, ij eludes, as heretofore, the counties! Buller, Murchison and Inaugalm Canterbury includes Westland a Grey; and South Canterbury dow to the southern boundaries of li Waimate and Mackenzie countie also the Chatham Islands. Otago and Southland remains they were defined by the Commis siou.
