The most extensive seizure by the police in the annals of crime has been made consisting of sixteen rooms filled with a marvellous collection of rare gold, silver and bronze ornaments and beautiful china and pictures, including several works by Reynolds. The arrest of 'three men for stealing plate at Kennington led to the discovery. The occupier of the house is engaged in the muffin business.
