Per Frees Association, Christchurch, Feh. 12. At the. Supreme Court, Peroival Roy Kennedy, a youth, pleaded guilty to charges of theft from the Union Bank. He was ordered to come up for sentence wiu a called. Auckland, Feb; 12.. At the Supreme • Court, William Maule, who committed perjury in an affiliation case by denying that he spent a -night with a young woman in an Auckland hotel, was ordered eighteen months’ reformative treatment, Jas, Lockheed, who had given evidence supporting Mania’s story, admitted perjury, and received six months’ reformatiye treatment Auckland, Feb. 12. At the Supreme Court; Patrick Gunn, 19 years old, charged with theft and arson at Rawene, failed to appear, though he was out on bail in two sureties of £350 each, provided by the prisoner’s lather (John Gunn) and brother-in-law ( William Robert O’Brien, of Auckland). Accused vanished before the opse was called on Tuesday. A search failed to reveal his whereabouts. The Judge said lie was satisfied the sureties bad done everything reasonable to produce the accused, and under the circumstances he would not estreat the recognisances and inflict such a serious loss upon them
