EXCURSION FARES TO ROTORUA.

Per Press' Association. Rotorua, Feb. 13. .

The largest and most represen tar tive deputation -that has ever waited upon any Minister in Kotorua interviewed the Hon. Mr Berries last night, when business men asked that excursion fares to Rotorua be issued by the ordinary express on the Auckland and 'Thames lines on Saturdays, available for return until the following Friday; also that exonrsion tickets be issued on all North Island lines one day in each month available for a month. . The Hon. Mr Berries promised that he would give tne proposal or as nearly a similar scheme as practicable a reasonable trial.'
