A communiquejstates that, as the result of a vigorous offensive we captured several trenches at Auohy, near La Basse, Lobs and St. Laurent, and the whole first line of trenches at Blangy. Our artillery gained a distinct advantage at Traoyleal in the Champagne. The enemy blew up our trendies north of Pour de Pans. Three German battalions of infantry attempted to debouch, but were repulsed. GERMAN STEAMER SUNK. Petrograd, Deo. 17. Official.--A Russian warship ordered the crew to leave the German steamer Darintic, near Kerason. Only two Turks, officers and twelve soldiers obeyed and they were picked up. The Denntic was bombarded and blown up.
