THE FIJIAN CONTINGENT.

The Government of Fiji recently offered a European contingent of volunteers to the Imperial Government for service in Europe. The Imperial Government replied that it would be very pleased to accept and that the most suitable method of making use of the force would bo to have it included in the New Zealand contingent, Ac the request of the Imperial authorities Use New Zealand Government has now accepted the Fijian volunteers for inclusion iu the.reinforcement drafts for the front, Fiji bearing the cost. It is hoped that the Fijian contingent will arrive in time to accompany the third reinforcements. They will undergo preliminary instruction at the Treutham camp.
