Last evening James Eady, aged 63, employed by the Railway Department until he -retired a few years ago, was killed by being jammed between two trucks. Dunedin, July 17. Margaret McKechuie, married, aged 67, difd suddenly yesterday. She was about to leave with her husband to visit relatives in the North Island. She had not been ill. An inquest will be held to-day. Anthony Farrell, a single man, aged 56, who appeared at the Police Court on Friday on a charge of drunkenness and was remanded for a week for medical treatment, died in the hospital yesterday. He was removed from the gaol to the institution on Wednesday owing to his serious condition.
