Carranza is reported to have stated that the United States is being made a cat’s paw by Britain, which he characterised as the world’s bully. He declared that intervention would influence the whole of Latin America. London, March 5.
The Mexiaan Minister in London states that the principal obstacle to the triumph of the Government Is the facility with which revolution ists are provided with arms on the Northern frontier. ; - t Washington advices states that Britain’s friendly, but firm, patience, in regard to Mexico is appreciated. It is felt that what might have become a nasty International incident, actually, by good diplomatic management and public common sense in both countries, lias strengthened the position of Britain in Washington.
