During the debate in the House of Commons on immigration, Mr Rodcflfe Remionx declared that the Hindu problem in British Columbia had reached an acute stage. He erahasised the action taken by New Zealand and Australia.
Other speakers referred to the economic disturbances caused inlands where labour was well paid, by the incursion of people accustomed to the lowest standard of living. Daring the debate, Mr Stevens, the Vancouver member, quoted seditions articles published in a Sanscrit paper at San Francisco entitled “ The Meeting. ”
