STOOP. REPORTS. Dalgety and 00,. report having a medium entry of stock at their Martor sale on Tuesday, which sold as below ;—Forward ewe to.l-ls, 2 tooth ewes 15? to 16s Bd, 2 tooth wethers 1 (is to 16 1 2d, 5 year old Lincoln skinned ewes 15s 3d, IS months sc era £3 16s, young dairy oovrs £5 ss.
Loan and Mercantile, Ltd., report:—At Apiti on Tuesday wo yarded 4000 sheep and 180 head of cattle, Bidding was brisk, practically every pen selling under the hammer at full rates. The bulk of the cattle were also quitted. Sheep: Cull lambs 2s 6d to 4s 3d to 5s Id, medium lambs 7s 3d to 8s sd, good lambs 9s to 9s beet lambs 10s to 31s lOd, woolly Jambs 10s 3d, cull ewes 5s to 6s, low condition ewes 8a 6d to 9s Id, aged ewes IDs to 11s 10J s.m. ewes 12s Id to 133 7d mixed age ewes 14s 2d to 14s lOd small 2 tooth ewes 13s 9d to 14s od, good 2 tooth ewea 16s od to 16s lOd fat ewes 15s to 15s 9d, mixed fit sheep 18s, fat and forward 2 tooth wethers 17s Od, 2 tooth wethers 15s to los 9d. Rams: Aged rams 6s 6d to 10s to 225, 2 tooth Romneys 2 to tooth Lincolns 1y 2 to and 4 to 6gns. Cattle: Forward empty heifers £4 10s to £5, year steer £5, 3 year bullocks £7 7s 6d. aged store cows £3, forward cows £4 to £5 6d, 18 months steers £3, bulls £3 15s to £4 sa.
Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co., Ltd , have received the following cablegram dated 24th inst., from their Loudon agents, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co., with reference to the third series of sales:-—“The third series of sales will be limited to 175,000 bales of new arrivals.’’
