The Times’ Berlin correspondent referring to the scheme of influence on the foreign press, states that the ambition of Germany will be to obtain independent English cables, and with this object attempts are being made to establish wireless communication between Nauen in Garmany and Togo in Africa, and Togo and the Oamerooms, It is also proposed to establish a German wireless chain in the South Seas and a station will be built at Samoa with a range of 3000 kilometres, and also stations at New Guinea and the Marshall Islands. All will be connected through the Dutch cable. Recent experiments stimulated these schemes. It is reported that connection will he established between Hanover and Tuckerton in the United States, a distance of 6600 kilometres.
