She declares that Mr -Stead was to have had at his disposal Cecil Rhodes’ fortune on the lines Rhodes laid down, bnt as Stead was violently opposed to Rhodes’ war policy Rhodes appointed other trustees, Estelle relates _ that three weeks after his drowning Stead appeared in Julia’s bureau and assured the audience: “All I told you is true,”
