United Press Association—By Elec trie Telegraph—Copyright. Sydney, July 8. Forty-eight were quarantined today, whereof ten are patients and 38 convafesoeuts and contacts. There are now 191 m quarantine consisting of 67 patients, 61 convalescents, and 68 contacts. The authorities hope to-morrow to discharge a considerable proportion of the contacts whose vaccination has been successful, and probably eight or nine of the convalescents who are now free of infection.

Supplies of lymph have arrived from Melbourne and New Zealand. It is to be used by the public depots, and none is available this week for private practitioners.
