BULLS v.'MARTON,
{,"' The above mvitch created a good deal of interest amongst, supporters of both teams, and there was a good attendance of enthusiasts on the Marton Park. After a well contested match, the game ended in a draw, neither side scoring. In the first spall Marten had decidedly the advantage, and were within an ace of scoring on several occasions, but through erratic passing failed to cross the line. In the second spell both sides narrowly missed scoring, Signall'a kick at goal from a free kick going' over the post, whilst L.
Green's attempt for Bulls fell a few inches in front of the bar. As a game it was not a good exhibition of Rugby. The passing was very wild at times, aud the line kicking was not well directed. Marten's forwards obtained the..ball from the
scrum repeatedly, bur they wore unable to get past the Bulls fbr- | wards, who are a solid pack and I hard to beat. Richards played a good game behind the Bulls forI wards, and Green am! Knox (Bulls) { were the pick of the forwards on
