STOCK REPORT. j WOOL, SKIN AND HIDE SALE. Abraham and Williams report as follows:—The usual fortnightly sale was held Friday when we offered a good catalogue of all classes of produce to a large attendance of buyers. Prices were very firm at late rates, damp and salted butchers’ skins being in strong demand. Bag wool rough crossbred SRAJ, lambs B%d to lOd, dead 7R£d to Bd, pieces erntchings ?Rfd. Tallow in tins good 25s 6d. WOOL, SHEEPSKINS AND , TALLOW SALE. Loan & Mercantile Co., Ltd., report:—At Wellington the sale on Fridav was well attended by buyers. We offered a fairly large catalogue, and found competition lively, j Wool and skins sold at a slight ad- ; vance on last sale prices, and hides were about Rid per lb higher. On the 13th of‘June, the Assoicated Woolbrokera will hold the first sale of orutohings of the season, when it is expected that good prices will be fothcoming. We quote :—Wool in bags, coarse crossbred stragglers, 8d to 9d; lambs 9d to 9J£d; locks and pieces 5%d to 7%, crutchings 5%d to 7d. Sheepskins, crossbred, fine B%d to 9Rid, coarse 7% to B>£d, medium 83;id to BR;d, lambs 8d to BR/d, broken and dead sߣd to 73qd, pelts to half wools Ofdd to Bri. Hides, ox heavy B>dd to Del, medium and light TR.d to 8d ; damaged hides (id to 7Rfd ; calf, sound lOd to 12d, damaged to Dd. Tallow, in casks 28a to 28a (id per cwt, in tins 18s to 2os Dd per cwt.
