One section reached the reserve, and the other four slightly passed it. The balance of the sections did not reach the reserve, which ranged from £2 5s to £3 10s an acre, and in one instance £4. Thev were accordingly passed in for private treaty. Some of these since the sale have been placed on offer, and inquiry is reported to be active,for the others. It is anticipated that the balance will b« disposed of at an early date.
