The committee stage of the Homo Rule Bill has been finished hy the Coruinons. Amidst Nationalist and Ministerialist cheers a Government nroposal was carried fixing the summoning of the Parliament not later than tour months after the first Tuesday in the eighth month after the passage of the Bill. Mr Tim Healy contended that the delay of a year had heen invented to permit of the submission of the Bill to a general election on the results whereof the Irish party were asked . to gamble their existence. The clause represented a triumph of Orangeism. The remaining clauseß were passed under the guillotine. Mr iSaifour gave notice of the rejection cf the Home Rule Bill on the order for the third reading. Received January 15, 10 a.m. London, January 14.
Lord Crewe will propose the second reading of the Home Rule Bill in the House of Lords on 27th inst.
