Since making alterations to his premises he has been enabled to show his large and wellselected stock to great advantage. Even now the shop has proved much too small for the display ot his wares, but nevertheless an excellent idea can be formed by a visit as to what one will require for his or her best friend at Christmas. Carrying a stock of over £3OOO worth it can be readily understood that Ins selection must be varied and large, and even the most fastidious in the selection of presents of silverware or jewellery should be easily satisfied, i'or the fair sex there are exquisite creations in jewellery, silver affcernoon tea services, silver-edged oak trays, salad bowls and biscuit barrels in all kinds of ware, gold bangles and rings in endless varieties and patterns. An elaborate case of cntlery is worthy of notice, being nicely laid and quartered and containing a full service. Those desirous of showing their appreciation for the fair sex should just take a look at the trinket and jewellery cases, and numerous other silver and gold articles that would make excellent presents, and it tne feeling is reciprocated what better than a real amber cigar or cigarette holder [if he is a smoker, or a pair of gold or silver-mounted military brushes? For the homo there are numerous articles that would prove nice adornments, such as barometers, marble and fancy clocks, silver candlesticks, entree dishes and services of all patterns and quality.
