MARTON DISTRICT A. & P. ASSOCIATION.

The general committee met on Tuesday evening, the president, Mr W. J. Birch, presiding. Apologies were received from Messrs K. W. Deighton, A. E. Penny, J. A. Bush and E. Lloyd. Messrs Fuilerton-Smith,“Miles and Cook were appointed lion, solicitors to the Association, 22S

Messrs ? P. L. Anderson, P. Sinclair, and|F. W. Kensington were appointed a sub-committee to wait on the Jockey Club in reference to the'use of the Club’s property for the Show in February. A sub-committee consisting of Messrs Brice, Marshall and Sinclair was appointed to draw up rules and regulations for the Association. Messrs L. M. Richards, J. Morrison, J. Wilson, S. Ooombe and E. G. Netherclift were appointed a grounds committee. The following”chief stewards were appointed:— Mr G. L. Marshall, purebred cattle. |Mr K. W. Deighton, fat sheep. Mr J. Morrison, Lincoln and Romney sheep. Mr S. Ooombe, other classes of sheep. Mr Hugh J. Cameron, draughts. Mr L. M. Richards, light horses. Mr R. Harris, dogs. Messrs F. L, Anderson and P. Sinclair, competitions, Mr E. G. Netherclift, dairy and fat cattle. Mr F. R. H. Brice, trucking steward. Messrs S. Howard and J. A. Bush, implements. Mr J. Hannan, side shows. Messrs L. M. Richards, G. L. Marshall, K. W. Deighton, J. Wilson and H. J. Cameron were appointed a sub-committee to appoint judges. The following donations have been received by the Association: —Messrs E. O. Gaisford 10 10s; J. Wilson £8 8s; J. Hannan, !W. O. Remington, H. R. Gaisford, 'G. L. Marshall, O. E, Gibbons, W. J. Birch £5 5s each; W. T. Galpin £3 8s; A. P. Wood, M. Collinson, Geo. Oockburn, E. Lloyd, R. E. Beckett, R." Aid worth, L. M. Richards, F. L. Anderson, R. Harris, S. Ooombe, J. McDonald £2 2s each, and J. Mitchell £l.
