Horse-owners are reminded that nominations for all'events, including Trial Hack. Plate, at the Marton Jockey Club’s Summer Meeting, to be held on January Ist and 2nd, 1913, close on Friday next, ’6th, at 8 p.m. The various events show an increase in stakes, the total amount to be raced for being £2500 The chief events on the first day are the Marton Cup of 400sovs., miles,and Railway Handicap, of 200sovs., six furlongs. The Summer Handicap of SOOsovs., one mile and a distance, is the chief attraction on the second day. Despite the fact of this substantial advance on the part of the Club, the nominations and acceptances remain the same, the nomination fee for all events being Isov. MANAWATU SUMMER MEETING. Nominations for all events in connection with Manawatu Summer Meeting on 26th, 27th andc N 28th December, ■ except 7th Palmerston North Stakes, close on Tuesday, December 3rd, at 10 p.m.

Meeting, and the tracks are * almost under water. Results^— Aorangi Trial Plate, five furlongs. —The Dodger 1, Gazalie 2, Rosalys 3. Scratched: Alecto, Martlet, Muscadine, Rahani, Sylvia May, Heather,-St. Helena, Trekker, and Primus. Won easily. Time, 1 min 6sec. ' Flying Stakes, six furlongs.— Rangiatua 1, Crown Pearl 2, Obligant 3. Scratched: Plantation and Seatondale. Won by half a length. Time, Imin 19sec.
