x STOCK SALES. . Messrs Dalgety & Co. report:—At Martbn sale yesterday only a small entry came forward, owing to the rough weather. There was a good demand. Wether hoggets made IBs Bd, Down hoggets 13s, medium ewe hoggets to Ms Bd, best ewe hoggets 18a 2d, shorn fat ewes Ms 6d, mixed fat woolly 18s 6d. Messrs. Abraham & Williams, Ltd., report on Marton sale, held -yesterday We had fair yardings of sheep and cattle, although not up to ad- • vextised numbers, owing to the wet weather. Wo have to report a good sale at the following prices:—Sheep, wether hoggets 15s, fat ewes woolly £1 Os 6d, do. shorn 14s 2d,fat wethers shorn 17s sd, Cattle, mixed yearlings £2 2s 6d 'to '.£2 7s Od, culled. 2is, 18 mouths steers £3 11s, bulla 335, £2 19s to £3 ss, heifer in milk £8 10s, old cows in milk £3 15 to £4 15s, forward cow £4 2a Gd, springing heifers £7 3s Gd, springing cows to £9 10s. A good entry of pigs sold well up to late rates.
