Mr Churchill, replying to Mr Rees, said the warship New Zealand will join the first battle cruiser squadron after her return from New Zealand in' the summer of 1913. He denied that the Australian fleet w T ould alone in future maintain the British position in the Pacific. The battleship Zealand made a successful 30 hours steam trial.
