HIGHEST PRICES OP SERIES. United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph. —Copyright. Received October 11, 2 p.m. London, October 10. The wool sales closed firm. Prices for all sorts were the highest of the scries.

Per Press Association^ Wellington, October 11. The following is the High Commissioner’s market report, dated London, October 10th:— The wool market closed very strong with best prices in the series and general active demand. The consumption was large and indications are favourable for a continuance of present prices. 4200 bales of New Zealand wool 'were held over. ,The estimated value of superior merino is 10%d to Is 2d, medium lOd to Is, inferior 8d to 9%d, line crossbreds. Is to Is 3d, medium 10}<(d to Is Id, coarse 9d to Is.
