The Telegraph says the circumstances attending Lord Denman’s expulsion from Sydney are scarcely creditable to the New South Wales Ministry. Received October 9, 10 a.m. Sydney, October 9. There are many protests in the press at Lord Denman’s eviction. The citizens’ committee propose to carry out a campaign against Government’s action at the ballot box. The New South Wales and Commonwealth Governments were badly heckled in Parliament over the treatment of the Governor-General.
