POLO.

RANGITIKEI v. PAREWANUI. The above matoh for West Ooas Polo Association's Challenge Gap, previously held by Rangitikei, took place on Rangitikei polo grounds at Balls yesterday. Rangitikei scored three goals and Parewanui one. The teams were:—Rangitikei: R. Wilson, back; H. White (three), K. W. Dalrymple, two, Hamish Wilson one. Pasewanui: Nelson Scott baok, N. Scott three, Lynn MoKelvie two, D Soofct one. The game was very fast and the ground was in first-class order. Although Parewanui played well individually the combination of Raagitikel was too strong. R. Wilson (Rangitikei) in particular played an excellent game. Rangitikei Club entertained the players and visitors to afternoon tea. Messrs A. H. Bill and A. Cameron gave every satisfaction as umpires.
