MUSICAL ALL BLACKS.
The Musical All Blacks, after an absence of nearly five years, open a two nights season at Marlon Opera House, oommeuQiug on Monday, Mny 2nd, whan no doubt they will begreeted by a buiapae house, Since their last visit the Company bus toured Australia and South Sea Inlands, doing phenomenal business, their seasons at the Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide Town Halls being wonderfully successful. As a family the Ail Blacks were always worth going miles to hear and provided an entertainment that was delightfully refreshing and ware always welcomed by big houses Daring their absence several new attractions have bean added, including four distinguished English artists and the most up-to-date -moving picture outfit touring the Dominion The pictures are worked by a 10,000 candle power engine and dynamo which is the latest invention of modern times and Mr Bhsck secures the most up-to-date pictures from ail parts of the world. In Australasia Mr Black is now recognised sa one of the peers in the moving picture world and his name now on any poßterds enough to secure a packed bonsG. A. feat are ia made of the electric lighting of stage and outside illuminations whilst tbo All Blacks brass band of seven instruments dispense sweet music outside before the commencement of the performance. To sum up ths|perfosmauc« it is well to quote a few lines taken from a paragraph of the Melbourne Age : • ‘ There is not a dull moment from the rise to the fall of the curtain and the vast audience went away quite satisfied they had received even more than their money’s worth,” etc., etc. This will be the last opportunity of Black Family as it is now composed, as at the end of the year soma of the lady members are retiring into private life. Mr Black will then probably visit England and Amerioa'to secure novelties and then reform the Company and after touring Australasia will visit New Zealand in about two years’ time with a show that is up-to-date in every respect.
