Bethea, a member of a wealthy family, crazed with drinking, while aboard the Baltimore-OMo express, shot with a revolver two of the guards. Bethea then looked himself in a smokng compartment snd fired on the crowd, who were attempting togdislodgo him. The fire brigade flooded the compartment.
Bethea wounded others before he died, riddled with bullets.
