LAND BALLOT.

Press Association. Wanganui, March 18. The land ballot for Rangatatau and South Waimanno sections is proceeding. There are a large number of successful applicants being debarred from subsequent ballots. On some sections already felled residence is not being enforced for four years, the Land Board considering that settlers run the same risk as on felly bushed sections. At the opening of proceedings the Commissioner said that the Land Board knew that dnmmyism was being attempted in the ballots hut it will fossick any of that out before confirming the results on March 31st,
