Messrs Abraham jand Williams, Ltd., report as follows:-Ac Palmerston North on Thursday, a large entry of sheep came forward and met wth a goad tdbround demand, several nice straight lines of 4 and 5year ewes being eagerly sought after. Forward lambs tor rape also sold well. Cattle : Forward oows £3 12s 6d, weaner heifers 20s, weaaer steers 31s. Messrs Dalgety and Co. report.— At Palmerston North sale there was a good entry of sheep and a fair entry of cattle. Nearly all were disposed of. Sheep: Mixed lambs small 4s 6d to 5a Bd, wether lambs 5s 4d, small 3-tooth ewes 10s 3d, aged ewes 4s 8d to 5s 7d, 6-tooth ewes to 13s lOd, fat ewes to 9a sd, 4 and 5year ewea 8s 4d to 9s Id to 9s 6d, wethers to Us, 4-tooth Romney rams to 2% guineas, 3-tooth Shropshire to guineas. Cattle): Weanera £1 Is to 28a, heifers £8 3s to £3 13s. fat oows £4 6s. Messrs Dalgety So Co., Lid., report. :—At our Mangaweka sale on Wednesday, March 2nd, we had a very good yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle. Wethers were In especially good demand, and also all lines of good lambs.
