At the Wairarapa Bifle Association Meeting held last Tuesday and Wednesday some fine scores were made. Amongst the prize-winners were Messrs J, Frederick, G. Head and A. Wing, of Marton. J. Frederick secured tenth place in the Carterton Match, fifth place in the aggregate, and was also successful in the Featherston Match, taking 35s in all. Q. Head was successful in the gasterton, Feafclerston and Petone matches, and got tenth place in the aggregate, taking 40s. A. Wing was successful in the Masterton and Petone matches, In the latter he tied for first place, but was counted out. His winnings amounted to 50s. Five members of Marton Roayl Rifles and Marten Rifle Club, including these three, are going to Trentbam Meeting, where 'it is expected that mere fame will come to Marton through their representaGiven Away.—RELIANCE BLUE (hag or square) keeps linen snow white.
