WEDDING.

A very pretty wedding took place at the Presbyterian Ohuroh, Upper Tutaenui, on Wednesday, December 29th, when Miss Catherine Wiihelmina McDonald, daughter of Mr Murdoch McDonald, of niu, was united in holy bonds of matrimony to Mr William John McOollough Harvey, son of Mr Geo. Harvey,‘of.lnglewood. The Rev. D. Gordon performed the marriage ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a gown of cream striped lustre, prettily trimmed with insertions, all-over lace and tucked net. She also wore the nenal veil and orange blossoms and carried a bouquet of hydrangea and arctotia grandis. There were two bridesmaids, Miss McDonald sister of the bride, and Miss Harvey sister of the bridegroom. They both wore stylish cream dresses trimmed with insertion and lace, and also carried a bouquet of hydrangea and arototis grandis. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a handsome gold watch and chain, and to the bridesmaids lovely gold brooches set with rabies and diamonds. The bridegrocm was supported by Mr Malcolm McDonald, cousin of the bride, as best man, and by Mr George Harvey, brother of the bridegroom, as groomsman. As the happy couple left the church the Wedding March was played by Miss Small. A reception was held at Highland OTarm, the residence of the bride’s parents, where a large number of guests sat down to a sumptuous repast. The usual toasts were honoured after which the happy couple left for their future home at Orofton amidst showers of rice and good wishes. The wedding presents were both numerous An [enjoyable dance was kept going till the early hours of the uiorping.
