PAHIATUA RACING CLUB. Qu Friday next acceptances for Pahiatua Races for the first day’s events, including entries for the Trial Hack Plate and Maiden Hack Scurry, close with the Secretary (Mr G L. Hawley Drew). With the liberal stakes offered and the large nominations received there is every reason ;_to expact good fields. All arrangements are well in hand and a record meeting should be the result. The Pahiatua Cup this year is worth SOOaovs , and a glance at the nominations shows that any horse with any galloping “ability figures in the ilst. In the other events owners have nominated liberally, and if the acceptances are proportionate in numbers a most successful meeting should be recorded.

Horse-owners are notified that nominations for various events at Poston Racing Club’s Meeting close on Thursday nest. The programme should again attract large- entries as the events are endowed with liberal stakes.
