Kaugitikei will be played at Palmerston next Saturday. What proved to he a most pleasant and exciting game of cricket was played at Halobmbe yesterday between teams representing Foresters and Town. In the .first innings the Foresters made 53 runs, the Town responding with 68. At the close of the second innings the Foresters had scored 50, while the Town succeeded in hitting np 37, amidst much excitement just before the last wicket fell tons winning the.hard fought contest by the narrow margin of two runs.
