WELLINGTON WOOL SALES. ■Messrs Murray, Roberts & Co. report :-Tho second sale of the season was held ou Dcceiubei h..h. tlio combined offerings totalling about 0000 bales. There was a largo attendance of buyers and com petition was fairly animat oil up to a certain limit. For crossbreds prices show a decline of %A to gjd as compared with the November sale but the condition of the offering for tae most part was slightly heavier. There was good competition 101 haltbreds from "the local woollen companies at prices siightiy lower than hist sale. Scouring lots were in aood demand at prices showing very little change from last sale. A large proportion of the wool offer'd was passed in owing to higa reseruis placed ou it hv owners, whose ideas of value are still based ou the oriccs obtained last year witliout regard, to the fall which has gradually taken place during the last six months,'ami we think tiic wools sold ou the Cte fetched their full value. The buht of the crossbreds bought was taken bv Bradford houses, operators being very little in oi idonco.
