Mr Standen’s herd is wall known all over the North Island, and cows from this herd have taken prizes at Palmerston, Hawke’s Bay, Masterton, Carterton, Wanganui, and Feilding shows. “ Princess j May ” has an unbeaten record at all | these Shows. Included among the number to be offered are “Peeress,” “ Petulance,” and “ Princess Royal,” daughters of “ Princess May," “Rhema”2nd to “Princess May” at last Palmerston Show, “ Favourite ” prize winner at Hawke’s Bay, “Violet Ist” at Palmerston and Wanganui, fi Humility ” several times champion. Four 2 year heifers bred by the veteran breeder W, Oowan, of Oamaru, four 2 year heifers bred by late D. McGregor, Timaru. The whole herd averaged £l2 10s last season for butter fat alone.
The pigs are from the latest imported blood from England.
