BURGLARS SURPRISED.
Press Association —Copyright, Melbochne, July 4. A'.constable surprised three burglars in a hotel cellar at Brunswick. He watched them until ho secured the services passer-by, wheu they aroused the Imputes. In the meantime 'the burglars ‘ cut their way through the bar floor and when the constable gained admission he saw them escaping into the street. He then fired three unavailing shots. The robbers secured no booty.
