THE PORTLAND DUKEDOM.

At a largely attended meeting of G. L. Druce, Limited, Mr Druce, the claimant to the dukedom of Portland, who presided, stated that a witness from America knew the fifth Duke of Portland as Druce and Portland, and would also be able to give details of the interment of the coffin containing strips of lead. The trial is expected to take place at the end of the year.
