FOOTBALL.
Huuterville HI. will meet Marton 111. at Mar ton on Monday. The game will commence at 11 a.m. Marton team is as follows: —Mclndoo, Gibbous, Signal, Low, Marr, Onmmins, Mainwaring, Anderson, McOhesney, Phippiu, Hargreaves, Henderson, McGregor, Wysocki, Emergencies—Miles, Blair. The Hnuteryille Club is sending a team to Wanganui on Monday to compete in tho senior tournament. The team, is as follows :—Jago, Pritchard, Stratford (2), Illstou (2), Della. The holiday attraction at Marton on Monday will be the fancy dress football match, and the veterans match against Marton Club. Considerable interest is being taken in those matches. No doubt there will be a large attendance of spectators. Last year the veterans put up a great performance against a formidable team, and as a strong combination has again been got together, it will not come as a surprise if tho past players secure a victory. For tho fancy dress match, which* takes place first, a gold medal lias been presented by Mr Macs Walters for tho best costume. In tho morning tho third-class cup match will bo played. ' Father Molloy and Mr O. E. Gibbons will be the referees.
The following will represent Marton Football Club against the Old Identities on Monday: Signal, Fell; Brodrick, Hunt, Henderson, Ausley, Allan, Ingle, Walker, Voght, Jensen, Howard, Henderson, Jolly, Ward. Ail taking part in the fancy dress match are requested to be at Drill Hall at 1.80 p.m. sharp.
