Notes by » Muddied Oaf." A general meeting of Rangitikei Rugby Union is called for Monday next to confirm new by-laws governing cup contests. Rangitikei football fixtures will be drawn up next week. The Youths' Olub, Marton, have formed a football club to be controlled by Maiton Club. They will compete in the third class cup competition. Several important matters will bo brought before a meeting of the club" to be held to-morrow evening. -
Rata football club has been requested to change its colours, from amber and black to green "and white. The request of tho Utiku senior club for affiliation to Rangitikei Union lias been granted, provided the Union is not infringing on tllO rights of tho Awarua Union. The following boundaries have boon recommended for Rangitikei Union :—Five miles east of Rangitikei river and north of Kakariki bridge and the Wangaolm on the east. The age limit for third class in Rangitikei Union players has been fixed for 19 years on Ist of May. At a general meeting of Rangitikei Union senior clubs will boallowed to send two delegates and junior clubs can be represented by one delegate, but no active members can be appointed. Following is the team chosen to play for Sanson on Saturday against Bulls :; :-rA. George, Egglington, Hartley, T. and J.'Richardson, Mclutyre, G. Hirst, Drew, Sanson, Lobb, Williams 2, A. Mace, R. Anderson, Emergencies—Wright, Vile, P. Riohardsou, F. Hirst and Thompson. All players are requested to roll up without fail.
