ASSAULT ON A CAPTAIN.
Press Association.—-Copyright, London, April 29. In the case Bertram v. Williams, a seaman on the ship Port Jackson, which recently arrived from Sydney, Williams was sentenced to a months’ imprisonment for having assaulted the captatin because ho gave him a bad discharge. It is stated that Williams is the sou of a New Zealand clergyman.
