KIMBOLTON.
From Our Own Correspondent.
The annual meeting of parishioners of St. Saviours, Kimbolton, was held in the schoolroom on Tuesday evening, 33rd iust. Various balancesheets were presented and adopted. Mr H. K. Hodge was again nominated as Vicar's warden. Mr Robert Mcßeth was elected as people's ! warden. In addition to churchwar- ! dens tho following gentlemen, MesLsrs : Buldley, Baviios," Capper, Carruth- ' ers, Fanthorpe, Fowler and Norton, : were elected on vestry. Mr J. "Wali lace was appointed auditor for en- ; sning year and a vote of thanks pasj sed him for services already ren- ! dered. The Vicar, Rev. J. . Oassell, \ iu his remarks expressed satisfaction i with balance sheets, though while I tho amount received from the various J centres had increased by £4O their income was still £43 short of their I assessment so that their balance of | £llO had now dropped to £73. Iu looking back over the past year, ho thought that while they might congratulate themselves on their fiuanj cial advance, there was still room Mar signs of greater spiritual ac- ' tivity. They had started and had been able to'kcop a morning service going, thanks chiefly to th energy of their Lay Reader Mr O. H. Bayncs, and though the attendance was not large those who did attend were very regular. He hoped both the morning and evening services would be better attended during the coming year by people living at no great distance from the church. A short j musical programme, which was much ' appreciated, terminated the even--1 iug's proceedings. j =
