WELLINGTON WATER SUPPLY
Press Association. Wellington, March 22. The water question is causing some anxiety. Despite efforts to economise the Karori reservoir supply was reduced by 13 inches in two days, nine inches being used in the last 34 hours; The engineer considers this an evidence of the waste and supply will have to he out off and turned on only at stated periods if it continues. The work of repairing the main supply is being pushed on. The light rain falling should assist to maintain supplies at Karori.
