PUKEKOHE ROD AND GUN CLUB.

The Pukekohe Gun Club heli a meeting on Saturday when a couple of trophies presented respectively by Messrs W. Wtight and C. Penny, and two sweepstakes were shot for.

For Mr Wright's trophy. 10 bird?, tfce leading scores were—S. Fitness, handicap 16yds, 10 kills; J. Blake, I6jd', 10, G. E. Fausett, 14yd?, 9; J. Wright, 19yd», 8. Fitness beat Wright in the shoot-off. In the 10 bird contest for Mr Penny's trophy, W. Boase, l'Jyds. won after tieing with J. Wright, J. Blake, S. Fitness and G. E, Fausett, all of whom had eight kills. A. P. Daysh, K. Fitness and A. vujucich bad Eeven kills a-piece to their credit. Ooe five-bird sweepstake was divided by E. Fausett and Daysb with four kills each, and the other was won by W. Boase witl four kills.
